Ridge Creek School - Counties of Custody - Another "Chapter" Uncovered

Counties/Cities/of Custody of youths that  have been placed at Ridge Creek School either by Georgia CPS, DJJ, DFCS, or out-of-state adjudicated/probationary juveniles placed at this facility. The Counties and Cities show up as these youths have been involved in an incident at the facility that was actually reported to, or investigated by the ORCC from 2008 through May of 2011.  The ORCC lists the "County of Custody" on their records(incident intake reports, along with DFCS.  Since many incidents have not been reported, the below list is not complete.  Different youths may have been placed from the same county.  ICPC records of youths and children crossing state lines should appear in the youth records, however the ORCC appears astonished that records were not complete, including ISP's, IEP, Psycho-social testing, etc.  The ORCC, DFCS, and the DJJ do not read their own records, or emails exchanged between all the staff, or they were and continue to be complicit in hiding the truth from parents and advocates. This entire 5 year debacle is a state-wide disgrace.  Ridge Creek School may have dirty laundry, but the state agencies just give the appearance of sanitizing theirs.  Another saga.  There is much more to come starting in 2001 - it is actually epic.  And that's my take!

Note:  By the way,  it is amazing that Administrative staff would actually place their names in emails and letters denying that Ridge Creek School does not accept, nor does it currently provide (used loosely) for the above youths.  This is a tragedy for these children, too.  Shame on you all.  RTF and PRTF - indeed.
