| Joe and Mary Amendola at The Second Mile Charity Photo via Busted Coverage After presiding Judge Dutchcot's 'family ties' to The Second Mile charity were revealed, now according to the Daily Mail, court documents reveal that Joe Amendola, the lawyer for accused Penn State pedophile Jerry Sandusky, impregnated a teenage girl in 1996. 16 is the legal age in Pennsylvania, although it is reported that Amendola represented his young paramour in her imancipation, covering all bases. He was 49. She would marry Joe Amendola in 2003, giving birth to another child. The two are separated now. The photo shows Joe and Mary Amendola (who is now 32) at a Second Mile charity event. The Second Mile is the charitable foundation for at-risk youth that Sandusky started. Gary Schultz, former senior vice president for business and finance at Penn State is seen in the upper left. Schultz has been charged with perjury for lying to the grand jury during the Sandusky investigation. It appears Amendola's wife is not in agreement with leaving her children with Mr. Sandusky. |
