Jury Selection Begins In Fatal DUI Trial - West Palm Beach News Story - WPBF West Palm Beach
Scott Wilson was a beautiful, innocent, 23 year-old young man, with his life ahead of him. A graduate of Wellington High School in Wellington Florida, he went on to graduate in 2009 with a degree in engineering from University of Central Florida. On February 12, 2010, he lost his life to an alleged drunk driver, who was reportedly high on "prescription drugs," by the name of John Goodman. Scott Wilson was returning home to celebrate his sister's birthday. John Goodman, the well-known owner of the International Polo Club in Wellington, was allegedly driving his Bentley on Lake Worth Road in Wellington, ran a stop sign, slamming his Bentley into Scott Wilson's Hyundia.
"The impact sent Wilson's car across the intersection of Lake Worth Road and 120th Avenue, flipping it upside down into a nearby canal. According to reports from the county medical examiner, Wilson drowned inside his vehicle.Authorities said Goodman left the crash scene on foot and made his first call to 911 54 minutes after the crash was first reported. He would soon be charged with DUI-manslaughter and vehicular homicide."

To protect his assests, Mr. Goodman recently adopted his 42 year old girlfriend, Heather Colby Hutchins.
