The Associated press is reporting that Seif al-Islam Qaddafi—a son of Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi indicted along with his father on crimes against humanity charges—has been detained.
The rebels arrived in Tripoli and the Libyan people are celebrating in the Green Square.

A nine year old little girl is repeatedly checked out of her school over the course of two years by an unknown party; she was brutally raped and sodomized then returned to school each time ... Judge Keith Starrett dismissed the lawsuit, but the 5th US Circuit of Appeals reinstated a portion of the lawsuit.
More insanity ... "U.S. District Judge Keith Starrett dismissed the lawsuit in 2009, basing his ruling on the legal reasoning that the girl had no constitutional guarantee of protection at the school under the circumstances in this case. He also ruled that the education officials named as individual defendants in the lawsuit had immunity."
One wonders if this judge would have applied his "legal reasoning" if it was his daughter. State immunity laws need to be changed.

The "Dame of British fashion," Vivienne Westwood,
criticizes Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge for her eyeliner. No Joke.
Between Ms. Westwood's hair and horrid dress, we are reminded of an aged, brass-headed
"Elvira" wannabe (bad dye job to boot) accessorized by her unkempt teeth.
Finally, the British have a generation of glistening smiles that would make any dentist proud and
Ms. Westwood focuses on Catherine's eyeliner?

BREAKING NEWS "THE DOUGHERTY GANG" HAS BEEN CAUGHT IN COLORADO
ACCORDING TO MEDIA REPORTS, THE THREE SIBLINGS WERE APPREHENDED AFTER OVER A 100 MPH CAR CHASE ENDED BY THE DOUGHERTY'S CAR CRASHING IN SOUTHERN COLORADO. IT IS BEING REPORTED THAT SHOTS WERE FIRED AND THAT LEE GRACE DOUGHERTY WAS SHOT IN THE LEG DURING THE APPREHENSION.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Ryan Edward Dougherty, Stanley Dylan Dougherty, and Grace Lee E. Dougherty for armed bank robbery. On August 2, police responded to an armed robbery at Certus Bank, 460 Norman Drive in Valdosta. Officers arrived on scene and were advised that three individuals, dressed in black with masks, entered the bank through the front entrance. The suspects are believed to be two white males and one white female. As the robbers entered the bank, shots were fired towards the ceiling and everyone in the bank was instructed to get down. At least two of the robbers brandished weapons, one described as being an AK-47 type assault rifle and the other appearing to be a machine pistol, while other robber obtained an undisclosed amount of money.

The siblings are also suspects in the attempted murder of a Zephyrhills, Florida, police officer earlier that same day. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

David Muscat, Australia's 'Neighbor From Hell,' Builds Giant Middle Finger On Front Lawn

So when a feud between Park Orchards, Australia residents and David Muscat boiled over, the feared "neighbor from hell" constructed an enormous wooden sculpture to flip the bird to all passers-by.
According to the Manningham Leader, Muscat built the sculpture in August of last year after complaints were made to the local council regarding illegal removal of trees from Muscat's property.The sculpture -- which is highly visible due to the lack of greenery on Muscat's front lawn -- stands nearly four feet tall and was built using a chainsaw. Ironically, it faces Muscat's house.
The giant finger is just one of several obscene gestures from Muscat, 47, that the Frogmore Cres community has taken offense to. During a court hearing last week, Muscat's neighbor, John Washbourne, alleged that Muscat head butted him, "shoulder-barged" his wife," and pointed a leaf blower in the couple's faces after they requested he turn the garden appliance off.
The Herald Sun spoke with one resident who was "too scared to be named," but did call Muscat the "neighbor from hell," adding that, "We would all be quite happy if he just packed up and went away."
In the end, the iron fist of the law may get the best of Muscat's wooden finger. Muscat, 47, has since pleaded guilty to charges including assault, the sculpture, and a noise complaint, all leading to AU$700 in fines.
Muscat also faces a AU$10,000 fine from the Manningham Council after pleading guilty to removing the trees and doing garden work without a permit.

RIDGE CREEK SCHOOL - JILLIESTAKE COMMENTARY HEATING UP AFTER "RIDGE CREEK SCHOOL CLOSING" - FOX I TEAM
After spending an entire day writing a commentary on this report, Jilliestake decided there was no gracious way to add a commentary that would be short, sweet, inoffensive, and to the point. Phone calls, emails, and comments have reflected shock and disappointment.
Jilliestake will state:
For the child that drew in his own blood on the bathroom wall, or the myriad of children that were beaten, or those children that tried to take their own lives, or those that were zip-tied, cold-cocked, neglected and abused both physically and psychologically, this just strengthens our resolve to make certain this can never happen again.
The Ridge Creek School facility was most certainly not, nor ever was conceived as a "sanctuary" for children.
And that's my take,
