New Bethany Home for Girls Arcadia Louisiana |
We are sincerely heartbroken for all these brave, brilliant, dedicated women who deserve far more than this... who stood up not for just their 'Sisters', but for those rights of children to follow, and for those precious lives that were[ lost] thanks to the likes of Mack W. Ford.
Statute of limitations? Nary a soul listened for how many years?????!!!!

UPDATE 01-15-2015:
As children's rights advocates, we were appalled at the decision not to indict Mack Ford, but not surprised. The "good ole boy" mentality, still systemic (which apparently spreads to a so-called professional woman), must cease. This is not about political favors, cronyism, but about lives destroyed -- lost-and an egregious miscarriage of justice.
We sincerely hope that Mr. Newell will not only re-open the New Bethany investigation, but seek the truth as to what transpired during the former investigation.
Any imbecile would recognize, immediately, that the statute of limitations would present an issue. It did not take a year for the Grand Jury to decide the statute of limitations would be problematic in seeking justice for New Bethany children.
Sewers have a way of backing up...and the former investigation appears to reek.
