Banks Financing Mexico Gangs Admitted in Wells Fargo Deal - Bloomberg

Banks Financing Mexico Gangs Admitted in Wells Fargo Deal - Bloomberg

  1. Somehow this was lost in the news cycle shuffle in June of 2010. Curiously, at the time this was reported on "Bloomberg," the news appeared more interested in Lindsay Lohan.
It is important enough to bring to the forefront.

The banks are a protected species....the government is in such thrall to Wall St, biz and Banking at this point, that they seem to be falling over themselves to give banks and Wall St. anything their hearts desire, presumably to keep the banks and Wall St. from completing the total destruction of the world economy they so nearly pulled of a couple of years ago. I call it holding us hostage. At this point I wonder if we would have been better off if they had totally trashed it, at least then it seems likely that the the US would have had to recognize them for what they are: gangsters backed by corrupted lawmakers. I urge everyone to read Matt Taibbi's articles on Wall St. and Banksters in Rolling Stone; he names names, and hasn't been sued...pretty strong indication it is true stuff indeed. They fine you more for speeding than they fine the guys that brought you this huge mess.

So, there is no surprise they finance/launder drug money. Money makes anything justified to these people.

Thank You for at least bringing this back in front of some people - it should not be forgotten, or lost in our obsessions with Hollywood - celebrity traffic stops, underwear installations (or lack therof),or assorted asinine misbehavior. THIS is more important to all of our lives.

HaHa! Here we go, a fresh new article in the Guardian UK. I am most pleased this is back on someone's pages...perhaps additional US media might even notice on the second go round, though I wouldn't recommend holding one's breath!

Ya gotta love it, the banks engaged in crime to "save themselves"....once again, as long as it is to "make money" all is forgiven - the fine, 2% of profits, so, hey, why not be a Bankster!! Odd, if I hold up a 7-11 to "Save myself" , it seems likely I'll be in REAL trouble! Oh, to be a bankster!

It is not easy, but I urge Americans to boycott banks to any extent that they can. They TARPed us, and they helped import drugs. They deserve to go.
